Qualcomm was looking to develop a campaign that helps demonstrate the innovative photo capabilities of their Snapdragon chip set inside the HTC One smartphone.
THE IDEA
We created a 540 degree photobooth, daisy chaining over 130 HTC Ones together making it capable of capturing high speed action and rendering camera movement shots in real time using custom Denizen software powered by Snapdragon.
The photobooth was set up for a live event experience in Venice, CA and filmed to capture highlights for a video. Then followed up with touring around the US.
THE RESULT
The video was a huge hit. It went on to get over 7 million views globally-- 95% earned, reaching the front page of YouTube and Reddit.com. The technology was so powerful that researchers at the University of California requested to use the photobooth for their future studies.
